At the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena many master’s programmes are taught in German only. Thus, students selecting a Semester in Erasmus Mobility at the University of Jena should acquire a sufficient level of German proficiency and demonstrate it to their sending University before being nominated. The University of Jena does not request a German examination certificate, but the command of German should at least meet B2 standards (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
